Single Sign-On upgrade coming on 20th May 2018
UCT uses a Single Sign-On (SSO) service to minimise the number of times you have to enter your username and password when accessing university services online. ICTS will upgrade this service during the ICTS maintenance slot on Sunday 20th May 2018.
During the maintenance slot, ICTS will upgrade the SSO service to a newer version. There will be no change to the site’s functionality, nor any effect on your access to services included under the current SSO environment.
The only difference will be visual changes to the sign-on screen:
What do I need to do?
The SSO environment will continue to operate as normal after the upgrade, so you won’t need to do anything differently.
If you experience any issues with the service after the upgrade, please contact the IT Helpdesk on firstname.lastname@example.org or phone x4500. Alternatively, you can visit the ICTS Front Office on Upper Campus, use our social media support channels, or seek help from a Lab Administrator.
