What is RightFax?

RightFax is an online service that enables staff to send and receive faxes via the Internet. UCT manages faxes through this service.

 
Is there a Cash Fax Office on campus?

No. All faxes must be directed or received through RightFax.

 
Who can use RightFax?

Staff members can use the service after applying for a RightFax account and accessing the web client.

 
What are the system requirements for using RightFax?

You can use the RightFax web client via any web browser (preferably using a computer rather than a mobile device).

 
How much does the fax service cost?

Prices vary depending on which type of RightFax account you have.

 
Someone needs to send me a fax. What number do they use?

If you have a direct fax number, they can send it to your personalised fax number (which you received when got the account). Otherwise, they can send the fax to the University fax office and it will be emailed to you:
