Do I have to be on campus to install the software?

You can install the software anywhere and at any time.

 

Where can I save my data?

You can save your files on One Drive for business.

 

Will I have access to Office 365 once I leave the University?

Currently, this offering is not for life, so access will be revoked once you graduate from UCT.

 

Can I share files with colleagues?

Yes, by using OneDrive for business. Navigate to the Office 365 portal and click OneDrive (under the Collaborate with Office Online section).

NOTE: ICTS will not provide support for Lync, but you can install this application on the various platforms. You do so at your own risk. OneNote is no longer included in the Office 2019 and Office 365 suites. You will therefore need to download and install it directly from the Microsoft website. ICTS does not provide support for OneNote. You may install this application on your various devices, but you do so at your own risk.
