What does UCT use SAP for?

UCT uses SAP to manage many areas of the university – including budget management, financial reporting, procurement, asset management and human resources. For more information, see SAP modules in use at UCT.

 

Who can use SAP?

Only authorised staff members may use SAP. Find out how to get access to SAP.

 

Is training available?

Yes. Training is mandatory for those who will be using SAP. After applying for SAP access, the SAP Finance Helpdesk will inform you when you are booked to attend the SAP training.

 

Is SAP available 24/7?

SAP is sometimes unavailable for various reasons. Check the SAP system availability schedule for news of upcoming downtime.

 

Who do I contact for assistance with SAP?
