Access to files on central storage

Prerequisites

To help ICTS service your request effectively, please ensure that you comply with the prerequisites listed below.

To meet general requirements:

  • Fulfil the fundamental customer responsibilities.
  • Use a computer with a working internet connection.
  • Ensure that a correctly-configured Novell client or web browser is installed on your computer.
  • Manage your F: and G: drives to ensure that you do not exceed space limitations and risk corrupting or losing your data.

For purchasing additional space:

  • Provide the fund number, cost centre and user ID.
  • Provide authorisation from the fund holder.

For recovery of data stored on central servers:

  • Provide the fund number, cost centre, user ID, date from which a restore is required, and file and folder names.
  • Provide authorisation from the fund holder.

Excluding official monthly maintenance windows, measured on a 24 x 7 basis, access to files on central storage is available as follows:
