What is high performance computing?

The High Performance Computing (HPC) resource provides a reliable, scalable and economic computing facility to UCT’s researchers.

What visualisation resources does the Centre offer?

Since inception the eResearch Centre has worked with numerous departments to provide visualisation resources to meet their specific needs.

 

Does the eResearch Centre have storage facilities for my large data sets?

Dedicated storage space has been set aside for researchers at a cost per 1TB per month with a minimum period of 12 months (payment to be made upfront). Please contact the eResearch team via email at eresearch@uct.ac.za for more information.
